Hayley Dix is a 2011 graduate of Middlesex University. It is here that she achieved her First Class BA(hons) in Interior, Design and Applied Arts.
Inspired by subjects relevant to science and the natural world, Hayley Dix has been lead to create a variety of pieces designed to tell a story, raise awareness or educate her viewers.
Although having interest in a broad range of materials gives her freedom, Hayley's work remains characterised by her sensitive and intriguing approach. This has directed her to explore paper lighting, wire and thread drawings, interactive displays and acrylic brooches.
‘Application of material is dependent on the message that I wish to convey.’
Hayley’s most recent works have been selected to be displayed as a part of New Designers One Year On 2012.
